“Remembering Her:  Keepsakes & Delicacies”

Beyond May flowers, May is a month full of celebrations, including Mother’s Day.  While this is a joyous day for many, for others, this can be a difficult time while reflecting on the lives of the women who have meant so much to us yet are so deeply missed.  All women are invited to our first annual “daughters missing mothers/mothers missing daughters” brunch on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in our fellowship hall.  Together, we will celebrate and pay tribute to your loved one through story-telling, special activities, laughter and tears.  Bring a photo or two of your beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, granddaughter, aunt (you get the picture!), her favorite dish or dessert, and the recipe to share with all who attend.  Recipes will be compiled and shared on our website.

Please register for this event by clicking here or call the church office, 386-428-6252.  For more information, please contact Laura Berg, Minister of Congregational Care.
