Sermon: And The Soul Felt Its Worth
Love came down at Christmas and the Soul felt its worth. Shepherds, eastern kings- outsiders, really, knew it and accepted it with wonder and awe. Insiders, religious authorities, people who should’ve known better rejected Love. John the Baptist recognized Love when He came. John Baptized Jesus and God declared Jesus as His Son with whom he was well pleased. Jesus’ ministry began. God declares his love and approval of us, too. We now carry out our ministry to others…Let’s get it right this time….let’s really accept that Love came down at Christmas, and Love gives us worth
