Sermon Series: Living a Resurrected Life
Sermon: In Certainly & Doubt (AKA Mystery)
Today we are circling back to the scripture that was used two weeks ago from the Gospel of John. We are continuing our series on Living the Resurrection and want to look specifically at what this story hints at for all of us who are living the resurrection. Specifically, we notice that even those closest to Jesus had to deal with doubt and uncertainty. Even if we were in Jerusalem or Galilee during the time of Jesus, we would still need to leave some room in our faith life for mystery. This story reaches out into the future and claims all of us who live years after Peter and Paul and speaks to us – even though you were not present – you are blessed.
