Coronado Community United Methodist Church has adopted as its mission “Serving God, Sharing Love.”
We are Christian believers committed to reaching out and welcoming all people, helping our diverse community grow in faith and in action through worship, prayer, service, leadership and the sharing of our gifts. We are engaged in mission at the local, national and global levels, and many of our members are actively involved in social justice issues in the city and county.
Coronado Community United Methodist Church was established in 1904 in the barrier island community of Coronado Beach. Now known as New Smyrna Beach, our town has been shaped by geography and climate.
Located four blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and a block from the Intracoastal Waterway, our congregation receives many visitors each week. In winter, they come from northern states and Europe. In summer, they come from the Southeast and central Florida.
Seasonal visitors who return year after year enrich our congregational life. New residents, including young families, singles of all ages, and retirees, seek us out as a spiritual home.
We offer worship in several styles and times and have a wide range of programs, classes, and support groups.
